Investigate the Role and Importance of Natural Environments

We are dependent on our natural environment for our survival. Living within this natural environment, we have been able to use it’s resources to build our societies, as well as continue to appreciate it and utilise it for our recreation.

In this section of the course, we look at:

• Features and characteristics of the local natural environment
• function of natural environments
• the diversity of natural environments
• local environmental issues resulting from the impact of human activities
