Here at Great Lakes Outdoors, we value our local community and try our best to support the local legends who give up their time to keep us safe. From being active patrolling surf club members to raising money for different groups, we see this as an integral part of our mission.
For the last 8 years, we have organised the Big Heart Hike, an almost 30km annual charity walk around the beautiful coastline of the Great Lakes area to raise money for the local charities and services such as the Marine Rescue, and in 2024 for the Forster Surf Life Saving Club.
